GMEN's collaboration with Cobb County provides housing and utility payment assistance to residents negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cobb County will provide eligible households with grants for rental and utility assistance for Cobb County residents. The Link to the application Portal can be found at
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR ASSISTANCE - RENTERS
Fully completed and signed application and upload the following documents. Renters will need to following documents to complete the application at
LANDLORDS SHOULD PROVIDE:
Valid W-9 for payments to the owner of the rental property
Must confirm that any late or rental arrears submitted for consideration are for Clayton County properties only
Must provide a Rent Ledger & Lease Agreement
Must provide SSN or Tax ID Number for the landlord or rental property owner/company
Must confirm whether or not a tenant receives a rental subsidy and the subsidy amount
Must provide contact information
APPLICATION SUBMISSION
Applications and required documentation can be submitted online at or dropped off in person at the Georgia Micro Enterprise Network Cobb County office Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 10:00 – 4:00 PM. For additional assistance submitting the application, onsite appointments can be made through the GMEN contact form. Failure to provide all required documentation will result in a delay or denial of your application. Please note, applicants can only apply once per grant cycle and will be contacted once all required documents are received. An approval or denial status update will be sent once your application has been reviewed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Do not contact the Cobb County to check the status of your application. Applicants will receive notification is their application is approved. Ineligible applicants will be notifed via email.
Applicants applying must be Renters.
Financial assistance will be sent directly to the landlord.
Submit copies of all verification documents, please do not submit originals. We reserve the right to inspect the original.
Applications that are incomplete or missing verification documents will not be accepted.
